Campaign Overview
Legal Services are GREAT is the UK Ministry of Justice’s international marketing campaign for UK legal services. The campaign supports and facilitates relationships between UK legal professionals, international businesses and legal professionals.
The campaign promotes the strength and breadth of the UK’s legal services offer overseas with a campaign presence in over 32 countries and have held trade missions to China, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Chile and most recently a virtual trade mission to Africa.

The UK-Africa Legal Services Virtual Trade Mission, 1-3 December 2020
As the Ministry of Justice celebrated three years of its Legal Services are GREAT campaign, the Legal Services are GREAT team hosted the first ever virtual UK-Africa Trade Mission to Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa on Tuesday, 1 December 2020 – Thursday, 3 December 2020.
Almost 400 legal professionals from Africa and the UK came together for the first-ever UK-Africa Legal Services Virtual Trade Mission to explore markets, develop networks and discuss opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
The mission was hosted by the Lord Chancellor Robert Buckland QC, with a keynote address from Her Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Africa, Emma Wade-Smith.
